Terrible Murder of a Policeman in Fenny Compton

This is a fascinating account by a retired policeman of an 1886 murder and his determination to make sure that PC Hine's grave should be properly marked.

The original print run funded a headstone for PC Hine and his wife Emily. The 30 page A5 booklet was reprinted for the "Fenny Compton Through the Ages Jubilee Exhibition" and is now available at the reduced price of £2.00 (+£2 p&p if required UK only, other destinations at cost. Payment by cash, cheque or PayPal), all profits going to the Village Hall thanks to the generosity of the author.

Available from Fenny Compton Post Office (Mon, Wed Fri 09.00 - 10.00AM) or from any member of the village hall committee. Alternatively call 01295 770747 or email tmoap@fcvh.org.uk

FREE TASTER VERSION (includes full index of names (88) mentioned in the text)

A full electronic (PDF/EPUB) version is also available for £1.50
